Outlaw Basset Rescue Adoption Application All dogs have been given their most recent shots and will have been spayed or neutered. The cost varies with the dog. Most dogs start at $100.00 the entire donation goes towards helping other dogs. Please Note. When you pay the adoption fee. NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED FOR ANY REASON! All money goes toward helping other dogs. Potential adopters are required to complete and submit an application as the first step in the adoption process. Potential adopters will not be permitted to set a meeting with a rescue dog in a foster home until they have an approved application with Outlaw Basset Rescue. Have you ever had a Basset Hound? What other pets are in your family? Adults and children’s ages in your household? Please list the pets you have had over the past 10 years? What happened to the pets? Please list your veterinarian’s name? Do you own or rent your own home? If you rent are you allowed to have pets? Have you ever taken the pet to a pound or shelter? Please explain? Do you have a fenced in yard? Electric fence? If not please explain how you will exercise your Basset? Where would your Basset hound stay at night and during the day? Basset hounds are not outside dogs. Will you be responsible for your Basset Hounds training? All adoptions are on a trial period for the first 30 days for you to decide if this is the right dog for you. You must notify us if for any reason you can no longer care for your Basset Hound and we will help you find a suitable home. Please do not take your Basset to a shelter. Will you keep your basset up to date on shots and keep Ids on him/her at all times? Do you realize the cost of a dog? Are you willing and able to pay this cost. Ex.
